A Fairies Illustration of A Single Drop of Water
"A Fairies Illustration of A Single Drop of Water"
A single drop of water.
I saw one on canvas.
I have always admired the art
of painting drops of water.
I suppose I could study it.
Look inside its world.
A single drop of water
I saw one on a leaf.
It glistened in the sun
caught a rainbows colors.
I did not touch it
I merely loved its presence.
By noon it will be gone.
A single drop of water
I held one in my hand.
I dipped my finger
into a glass
let wetness touch my skin
then dropped its tiny bead
into my palm.
Twas there it rested
until I wiped it off.
A single drop of water
touched a zillion times ten.
I filled my tub
to drench my body in.
I slipped into the envelope
of closely connected drops
closed my eyes
and felt comfort.
A single drop of water
joined with all its friends.
I stood beside a waterfall.
It spoke of storms past.
My heart accepted its remarks
speaking loudly.
It sees new days
continuing
until the last.
A single drop of water
I am mesmerized.
I am a single human figure
on a planet
here and now
I am not that far away
from the dew on baby roses.
I expect the same miracles.
A single drop of water
our most precious gift.
I am a fierce admirer
and will defend it till the end.
I stand before the ocean
realize its vastness.
I feel so tiny
strain my eyes
as I try so hard
to see it all.
It is a fairies illustration
I suppose
of a single drop of water.
I stand in awe.

YAY!! I also have a "One Woman Show" in April at Wailoa State Building in Hilo. Wow! I better get to my painting for the day!
Thank you so much Nicole Stevenson for my radio interview with you. You have such a wonderful way about you that it is easy to feel at ease. Blessings for that.
Thank you too for your inclusion of my website and offer of free gifts. Legends of Mermaids, Fantasy Fairies, Goddess Art along with a Letter from the Tooth Fairy Dallyanna.
YES! I know her by name. She brings me wonderful teas and stephanotis from the mountains of Africa. We chat for hours of her many adventures.
My website tells the story of creative adventure... it goes along with the images that I painted. It is all about the search for self and our acceptance of who we are and who we hope to be.
My newsletters are along the same vein of my website. Holding a single leaf and realizing how amazing it is. Wow... how much more amazing are we?
Greeting Cards; Posters; and Fine Art Giclees (digital photos) on Canvas are available for sale on my website as well! Yay!
Blessings and Aloha,

"Cast In Jade"
"Cast In Jade" 4 1/2x11 watercolor on paper
Once I was at an outdoor symphony in LA, I was about 16. As I sat waiting for the music to begin a woman passed in front of me. She was an Asian woman. She was the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. She was beautiful and graceful and all of the things a young girl at 16 hopes to be. I never forgot her obviously.
